"Discreet collectors with connoisseur's eyes and taste, our enthusiasts have created a collection that is eclectic yet coherent with their personalities. Between the North, South-West and Brittany, their passion for art, or rather the arts, was known to all. Its scope, however, could only be admired by a few in private. The son of a bookseller and gallery owner, and a friend of great painters and writers, our amateur history-geography teacher was immersed in this world throughout his childhood, and went on to forge his own taste and collection. Over the decades, he has added to and modified his collection according to his discoveries and desires. A seasoned Chineur, his passion for objects was his leitmotiv. Through each object, each work of art, he imagined the meticulous and passionate work of men and women. Today, to continue the passing on and the life of the collection, certain lots are presented to you for sale so that this love of the arts continues with the same enthusiasm."
