Table kettle ''samovar'' in silver plated metal. Possibly Christofle, 2nd half of the 19th century. With wick stove and base mounted with hinge and pin. Model with twisted sides and rocaille decoration, rocaille cartouche with volutes, assorted foliage, flowers and reed leaves, engraved with the monogram GL. Curved lid with wavy decoration surmounted by a flower-shaped socket. The base rests on feet with scrolls and leafy attachments, the upper part alternating openwork palmettes and cartouches of crosses. CHRISTOFLE mark on the inside edge of the lid (faded). Wooden handle not fixed on one side (traces of glue), accidents and missing, slight deformation of the lid. Height. 41 cm.
