MASSE, PARIS, 1708-1709. Silver bowl. Paris, attributed to Jacob Masse (received in 1704), possibly 1708-1709 (letter-date P). Of circular poly-lobed form, it is molded with nets and decorated with pinched odds in the descent. It is engraved in the center with a coat of arms stamped with a baron's tortil (?) surmounted by a helmet empanached tared of three quarters: to the dexter, azure with a chevron of silver accompanied by three shells, two in chief and one in base, to the sinister, fess azure and silver, a star at the top. Wear, deformation of the bottom and the decoration, traces of welding. Height. Height : 5.5 cm. Diameter : 25.5 cm. Weight : 467.20 g.
