Reliquary figure Kota Mahongwe, Gabon Wood with brown patina, copper alloy, restorations H. 46.5 cm Concave face crossed by a vertical metal band featuring eyes and nose at mid-height. On either side, a network of plated brass wires, also stapled. Kota mask Brought to France by a friend of Léon Sirotovers 1963/1965. It has remained in the same family for some 50 years. The wood has been partly changed and the metal cleaned.
