WOBE GUERE MASK Wood with brown patina, pigments, horsehair, hair, cotton, metal, accidents L. 42 cm Large mask with striking cubist features, tubular eyes on either side of an enlarged nose, mouth open to a stinging tongue. The forehead is described as a self-contained volume forming a depression. Numerous materials are attached: wooden spikes imitating menacing claws or teeth, cotton, various fibers.
